Dit ben jij

You are a senior HR leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and intercultural sensitivity.

In addition, you bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in an HR Manager or comparable role;
  • At least 2 years of experience in multicultural environments (experience with Chinese corporate culture is a strong plus);
  • Proven skills in performance management, workforce planning, recruitment strategy, well-being and cultural alignment;
  • Affinity with HR tools (e.g., Nmbrs); experience with HRIS implementation or optimization is an asset;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Full professional proficiency in English; Dutch is an advantage;
  • Availability of 40 hours per week (32 hours negotiable).

De werkzaamheden

The HR Manager will report directly to the local General Manager and collaborate with senior stakeholders both in the Netherlands and abroad. You will oversee two HR staff members (recruitment and administration) and be responsible for the professionalization and growth of all HR practices.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and executing a modern, fit-for-purpose HR roadmap;
  • Leading strategic workforce planning, recruitment and employer branding efforts;
  • Driving performance development and review processes;
  • Strengthening employee engagement, cultural cohesion and well-being initiatives;
  • Advising on HR software usage and possible system enhancements;
  • Ensuring HR policies align with local legislation and corporate requirements;
  • Coaching and enabling your team to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

This is a high-impact role with long-term potential. You’ll be instrumental in building the HR function within a growing European operation and will play a key role in shaping company culture and organizational effectiveness.

In addition, the following conditions apply:

  • Competitive salary up to €8000 gross per month (based on 40 hours);
  • Initial 12-month secondment via STAVV with the intention of permanent transfer;
  • Travel reimbursement and pension participation;
  • Flexibility to work partly remote (at least 3 days onsite expected);
